Job summary

Walmart in Parry Sound, ON is hiring for a cleaning associate to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program and help keep the store clean and safe for customers and associates.

You will assist in cleaning Fresh Departments, comply with Food Safety standards, inspect equipment, and ensure supplies are available while following all company policies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program as part of a team.
• Comply with Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Clean Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures on schedule.
• Inspect maintenance and cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Maintain a safe environment by completing in-store certification programs and following company policies.
• Clean floors and non-sales areas using mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and carpet care as needed.

Position Summary…

To participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program while controlling expenses to ensure a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

What you’ll do…

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
