Job summary

Walmart in Brooks, AB is hiring for a maintenance cleaning role focused on a structured cleaning program and cost control to keep the shopping and work environment clean and safe. The position supports thorough cleaning of Fresh Departments and equipment inspection while ensuring supplies are stocked.

The role requires complying with food safety and chain guidelines, promoting safety, and performing floor care across the store, including non-sales areas, with a starting hourly rate of 16.95 CAD.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking Coach and cooperates with associates on a comprehensive cleaning regimen.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Inspects maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by completing in-store certification programs and following company policies.
• Cleans floors as needed using mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and carpet maintenance in non-sales areas.

What you'll do

2.Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
3.Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
4.Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
5.Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
6.When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.95.
