Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp. is seeking a maintenance cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program in Thornhill, Ontario. The role focuses on maintaining a clean and safe shopping and working environment, including cleaning all Fresh Departments and ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for use.

Minimum rate starts at 18.05 CAD per hour. The position requires 18+ years old and adherence to food safety standards and store policies. Training and in-store certifications will be provided.

• Communicates with the Stocking Coach and cooperates with associates on cleaning regimens.
• Complies with Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of Fresh Departments, including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Inspects maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by completing in-store certifications and following company policies.
• Cleans floors using mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and maintains non-sales floor areas.

What you'll do...

1.Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
2.Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
3.Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
4.Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
5.Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
6.When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
