Job summary

Walmart in Wasaga Beach, ON is seeking a maintenance/cleaning associate to participate in a structured cleaning program, ensuring a clean and safe shopping and working environment. You will help manage supplies and collaborate with the team to maintain cleanliness across departments.

The role requires adherence to Food Safety standards, routine inspections of equipment, and occasional floor cleaning across non-sales areas. Training and certification programs support a safe workplace.

• The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
