Job summary

Walmart Canada in Edson, AB is seeking a Maintenance Cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program and help maintain a clean, safe shopping and working environment for customers and colleagues.

You will follow food safety standards, clean all Fresh Departments, assist with equipment inspections, and complete in-store certifications. The role starts at $16.95 per hour and offers opportunities to grow through training and teamwork with store staff.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
