Job summary

Walmart Canada in Fort McMurray is seeking a team member to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program, ensuring a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

The role includes coordinating with store teams on cleaning regimens, adhering to food safety standards, and performing routine cleaning across Fresh Departments and non-sales areas. The position starts at a minimum hourly rate of CAD 19.10 and requires 18+ for eligibility.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments including coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assists in inspecting maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by completing required in-store certification programs and working in accordance with all Company policies and procedures.
• Cleans floors following a system of mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets in non-sales areas.

• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $19.10.
