Job summary

Walmart Canada in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Maintenance Cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program, manage supplies, and ensure a safe, compliant store environment. You will follow food safety standards, inspect equipment, and help maintain cold chain areas and floors.

The role starts at a minimum hourly rate of $16.95, with opportunities to contribute to in-store certification programs and stay aligned with company policies while reducing expenses through efficient cleaning.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
