Job summary

Walmart Canada in Red Deer, AB is seeking a dedicated maintenance cleaner to join a structured cleaning program, helping maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment on a daily basis. Responsibilities include coordinating with floor leads, following food safety and cold-chain guidelines, cleaning fresh departments, inspecting equipment, and ensuring supplies.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and timely completion of cleaning tasks in-store.

• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
