Job summary

Walmart Canada in Courtenay, BC is seeking a team member to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program to keep the shopping and working environment clean and safe while helping control costs.

The role involves coordinating with the Stocking 3 Coach and associates on cleaning regimens, ensuring compliance with Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines, and maintaining cleanliness in Fresh Departments, including coolers and freezers.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
