Job summary

Walmart in Toronto is seeking a Maintenance Cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program while helping maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

You will coordinate with the Stocking 3 Coach and store associates, ensure compliance with Food Safety standards, and perform cleaning across Fresh Departments, coolers, freezers and display fixtures. The role includes equipment inspections and safety certification compliance, plus floor cleaning for non-sales areas.

• Minimum age 18 or older.

• Cleans floors following a system of mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets in non-sales areas.

2.Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
3.Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
4.Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
5.Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
6.When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.40.
