Contract Details:

  • Position Type: Contract

  • Pay Rate: C$80–100/hour
  • Shift/Hours: Monday–Friday, core business hours

Job Summary

The Solutions Architect will lead the development of architectural frameworks across technology domains and provide strategic guidance on solution design. This role supports enterprise and segment-level technology planning, ensuring alignment with standards and best practices. It involves managing complex projects, evaluating business requirements, and providing expert consultation on critical IT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain architecture frameworks, strategies, policies, and standards.
  • Create and manage enterprise or segment-level technology roadmaps.
  • Review and approve blueprints based on alignment to enterprise architecture.
  • Advise project teams on optimal solution design strategies.
  • Oversee technical requirements, system performance objectives, and necessary system modifications.
  • Evaluate business requirements and recommend solutions within the architectural context.
  • Provide expert consultation on high-risk and complex projects.
  • Ensure compliance with technology architecture and project management standards.
  • Research and implement emerging technologies and trends.
  • Support IT governance and vendor contract negotiations as needed.
  • Influence product direction and technology integration from an architectural standpoint.
  • Lead project planning and status communication while directing technical resources.
  • Mentor peers and lead knowledge-sharing efforts within teams and stakeholders.
Required Experience
  • 10+ years of ServiceNow experience as a System Administrator, Developer, or ITSM Manager
  • Proven Solutions Architect background
  • Experience in solution design for large-scale enterprise systems
  • Hands-on experience with database management and network infrastructure
  • CSA Certification (Certified System Administrator)
