Job summary

Walmart Canada in Windsor, ON is seeking a Department Manager to lead a team on the sales floor, coordinate associates and ensure merchandise is stocked and presented to meet customer needs. You will plan tasks based on workload and traffic patterns.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers in a polite and friendly manner and assisting with product/service promotions.
• Delegate and follow up on Customer Availability Process tasks including section work, bin capping, and stocking picks.
• Coordinate and supervise price changes and feature sets across the sales floor.
• Delegate and support modular completion in assigned areas to ensure readiness and presentation.
• Assist with coverage in required areas, support recovery and zoning activities on the sales floor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, hazard-free environment by following company policies and completing safety checks.

Position Summary...To provide customer service by coordinating the activities of associates to complete assigned handheld terminal activities. Ensuring a zoned and stocked salesfloor and offering assistance to meet the customer’s shopping needs. This will be accomplished by maintaining and recovering merchandise all in a safe and clean environment.
