Job summary

• Ensures the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensures department is fully stocked with merchandise and ready for business.
• Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to food safety, sanitation and handling procedures.
• Follows procedures for ordering, clearance, markup/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure quality and appearance.

Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.8.
