Responsibilities

• Maintain and zone the Bakery Department to ensure quality and visual appeal of bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensure the department is fully stocked and merchandise is signed and priced correctly.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cold-chain procedures, including temperature recording and shelf-life labeling.
• Assist with ordering, markdowns, and labeling; ensure displays are secure and safe.

Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.8.
