Job summary

Walmart Canada in Surrey, BC is seeking a friendly Bakery Associate to deliver excellent customer service, maintain the bakery area and assist with stocking, merchandising and selling a range of breads, cakes and pastries.

You will follow food safety rules, monitor temperatures, label and price items, and keep displays clean and organized. The role starts at CAD 18.70 per hour with possible shifts and weekends.

• Age 16 or older to be eligible for the position.

Responsibilities

Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.7. Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.8.
