Job summary

Walmart Canada in Brockville, ON is seeking a Bakery Associate to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining the Bakery Department. Responsibilities include ensuring product quality, proper signage, and accurate pricing across bakery items.

You'll help keep the department well-stocked, follow food safety and sanitation procedures, and support daily tasks such as ordering, markdowns, labeling, and shelf presentation to deliver fresh, appealing products to customers.

• Keep the department fully stocked and ready for business.
• Ensure items are signed and priced correctly.
• Follow cold chain, thermometer calibration, temperature recording and food handling procedures.
• Maintain sanitation and cleaning standards.
• Assist with ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, labeling and pricing.
• Prepare bakery items following thawing and baking guidelines for quality output.
• Ensure displays are secure and safe.

Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.8.
