Job summary

Walmart Canada in Winkler, MB is seeking an associate to assist in Asset Protection and office operations. You will provide friendly customer service, help locate merchandise, and support via the sales floor as needed.

You will coordinate tasks with the Asset Protection Coach and Store Leadership Team, assist scheduling, and lead team huddles with timely updates. You will also monitor schedules, assign coverage, and identify training opportunities while ensuring a safe, clean work environment

• Assists in leadership of Asset Protection and office areas; responds to problems and inquiries.
• Promotes excellent customer service; helps customers locate merchandise and complete purchases.
• Delays tasks per priorities from Asset Protection Operations Coach and Store Leadership Team; delegates and follows up.
• Helps schedule as needed and communicates with team during daily huddles.
• Leads and assesses scheduling and coverage for store areas; tours areas with Coach and team to identify training needs.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness, and hazard-free environment; maintains logs and secure displays.

Position Summary...Assists in the leadership of the Asset Protection and office areas and processes, responds to problems and inquiries and develops associates through teaching and training . Ensures a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion.Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.What you'll do...1. Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.2. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Asset Protection Operations Coach and the Store Leadership Team. Delegate, assist and follow-up on completion of tasks in receiving, claims and office support.3. Support with scheduling as needed.4. Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.5. Review completed schedules with People Lead.6. Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.7. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates, validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provide feedback as needed.8. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.9. Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.10. Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates.
