Job summary

Walmart Canada in Toronto is seeking an Asset Protection/Store Support role to drive customer service and operational excellence. You will greet customers, promote products, assign tasks, and support scheduling while coordinating with leadership to ensure priorities are met.

You will lead daily team huddles, track productivity, and foster training opportunities. You will assist with hiring, safety practices, and performance conversations to grow associates and maintain store standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service by greeting customers in a polite and friendly manner and assisting with product/services decisions.
• Assist in directing and coordinating task completion per priorities from Asset Protection Operations Coach and Store Leadership Team; delegate, assist and follow-up on tasks in receiving, claims and office support.
• Support scheduling as needed.
• Maintain strong communication with associates; lead daily Team Huddle, share updates, set goals and track productivity.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• Assign Associates to support coverage and availability in all store areas.
• Tour areas with Coach and team to identify training opportunities and develop associates through teaching and feedback.
• Contribute to a safe, clean work environment by adhering to policy and completing safety logs; ensure displays/fixtures are secure.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support Management.
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to support performance growth conversations and assist with recruiting and hiring of new associates.

Position Summary...Assists in the leadership of the Asset Protection and office areas and processes, responds to problems and inquiries and develops associates through teaching and training . Ensures a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion.Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.What you'll do...1. Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.2. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Asset Protection Operations Coach and the Store Leadership Team. Delegate, assist and follow-up on completion of tasks in receiving, claims and office support.3. Support with scheduling as needed.4. Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.5. Review completed schedules with People Lead.6. Assign Associates to support with coverage and availability tasks in all areas of the store.7. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates, validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provide feedback as needed.8. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.9. Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management.10. Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates.
