Job summary

Pacific Canbriam Energy Limited is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join the maintenance team near Fort St. John, BC. This camp-based, 7/7 (12-hour) shift role requires flexibility for extra hours and on-call duties.

All successful candidates will undergo drug and alcohol testing as part of our hiring process. The role involves diagnosing, installing, calibrating, and repairing instrumentation, managing CMMS work orders, maintaining detailed records, and upholding strict

Qualifications

Red Seal Journeyman trade certificate.
10+ years of related experience in oil and gas facilities.
Experience with PLC and SCADA systems.
Gas plant process knowledge is an asset.
Class 5 driver's license.
Safety certification including First Aid, H2S Alive.
Ability to demonstrate computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair issues in existing instruments to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Perform calibration and regular inspections of instruments to maintain accuracy and functionality.
Update, manage, and close out work orders in CMMS promptly and accurately.
Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including supplies ordered and used.
Ensure routine maintenance is performed on a regular schedule to reduce risk and costs.
Adhere to PCE safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Conduct all work in compliance with established procedures, standards, and company policies.
