Job summary

Epscan Industries Ltd. is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician for on-site work in Fort St. John.

This role involves maintaining and calibrating process instrumentation, leading maintenance projects, and mentoring apprentices. You will work on boilers, separators, and other critical equipment with a strong emphasis on safety. The ideal candidate has a Journeyman Electrical Red Seal, CSO/First Aid/H2S Alive training, and at least three years of oilfield experience.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification required.
• First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training required.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Experience in oilfield industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, order materials, and train apprentices on maintenance, replacement, and installation of equipment.
• Calibrate instrumentation and perform unattended calibrations where applicable.
• Lead maintenance, construction, and upgrade projects; assist others with troubleshooting and decisions.
• Work on process equipment ( boilers, separators, compressors, etc.) with minimal supervision.
• Maintain QAQC documents and support Project Managers with reporting.
