Job summary

Pacific Northern Gas is seeking Measurement Technicians to join its Operations team in Dawson Creek, BC, based in Dawson Creek or Fort St John. This role involves overseeing measurement facilities, maintaining records, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have instrumentation expertise, an apprenticeship (RED SEAL) or equivalent telemetry training, and a background in the natural gas utility sector, with a valid BC driver’s license and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Instrumentation Apprenticeship (RED SEAL) or vendor training program on telemetry (SCADA) system.
• High School Diploma Grade 12 with Grade 11 Mathematics and Physics.
• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical reports, and operating manuals.
• Demonstrated safe work habits and adherence to safety regulations.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Measurement Technician.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in a natural gas utility.
