Job summary

S.I. Systems Ltd. is seeking a Contracts/Procurement professional with hands-on experience supporting project-based sourcing and contracting from RFP through contract execution, changes and close-out.

Location is Calgary, in-office 5 days a week. Contract duration starts at 6 months with potential extension. Must have 5+ years in contracts/procurement within large enterprise settings, experience with project-based sourcing, RFPs, and contract documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Contracts Advisor, Contracts Specialist, Contract Administrator or similar roles in large enterprise organizations.
• Experience supporting project-based sourcing and contracting, including RFPs, contract execution, changes and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Support project-specific procurement and contracting activities, including sourcing and commercial approaches.
• Coordinate contracts through the full lifecycle, from RFP and pre-qualification through execution, changes and close-out.
• Administer contracts, Scopes of Work, sub-agreements and change orders, ensuring required approvals and documentation.
• Coordinate contract progress meetings, track actions and follow up on commitments.
• Work with project teams, contractors, Procurement/SCM, Commercial, Legal, Finance and other stakeholders to keep contracting activities moving.
• Support contract changes and commercial issues, bringing in internal expertise as needed.
• Maintain contract tracking systems and documentation and ensure signing authorities and company processes are followed.
• Support the project team in managing contract requirements, risks and issues through to completion.
