Job summary

A Few Good Lads, Calgary-based leader in on-demand construction labour, seeks a Sales Account Manager to grow client relationships across Alberta with focus on Calgary and Edmonton. You will win new business, manage accounts and collaborate with Operations and Health & Safety to deliver workforce solutions.

The role is autonomous and target-driven, requiring travel and sharp communication skills. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in BD or account management and a valid Alberta driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of business development or account management experience.
• Construction, staffing or industrial sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout Alberta.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada and based in or willing to relocate to Calgary.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new clients across Alberta’s construction, industrial, civil, energy and related sectors.
• Develop and grow existing client accounts through regular meetings and site visits.
• Travel regularly between Calgary, Edmonton and surrounding areas.
• Present AFGL’s workforce solutions tailored to client needs.
• Collaborate with Operations and Health & Safety to ensure successful service delivery.
• Negotiate service agreements and oversee client onboarding.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Represent AFGL at networking events, trade associations and industry functions.
• Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, forecasts and KPI reporting
