Teatro Group's Alforno First Street Market in Calgary is seeking a Café Manager to lead the daily operations, uphold food quality, and inspire a collaborative team. This hands-on role requires strong customer service, inventory oversight, and a passion for coffee culture.

You will partner with executive and culinary teams, manage schedules including weekends, ensure safe handling and use of POS systems, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in management, coffee experience preferred.
• Able to open early 5 days/week with weekends/holidays.
• Experience in fast-paced environments and multitasking.

Exciting news! Alforno First Street Market is seeking a Café Manager. Join a dynamic team dedicated to food quality and teamwork.

The Café Manager is a hands-on leader who motivates their team, upholds service excellence, and drives operational efficiency while collaborating closely with the executive and culinary teams.

Work Authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Alforno does not provide LMIA sponsorship or employer-sponsored work permits for this position.

What are the duties to perform:

• 3 Years of experience working in management and coffee is preferred!
• Able to perform early openings 5 days a week, with open availability for weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to multitask effectively
• Must be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office suite, internet and email
• Experience ordering and monitoring supplies, and ensuring appropriate product inventories are in place
• Experience in all aspects of customer service and people management
• Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, practices, and techniques

• A valid Food Safety Certificate is required to ensure safety and quality standards
