Job summary

C&A Group is seeking an organized, people-focused Human Resource Administrator to support HR and Safety operations and maintain accurate employee records.

Reports to the President and contributes to an inclusive, growth-oriented culture while handling recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards and Occupational Health & Safety legislation.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment across all departments.
  • Create and manage job postings.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and maintain talent pipelines.
  • Support succession planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and documentation.
  • Ensure departments are prepared for new hires.
  • Support first-day employee experiences.
  • Manage offboarding processes, exit interviews, and transition activities.
  • Administer performance reviews and probation assessments.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and performance documentation.
  • Administer employee benefits programs.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and workplace concerns.
  • Coordinate internal communications.
  • Support employee recognition programs and company events.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and HR databases.
  • Coordinate training systems with Safety and Operations.
