Tundra is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing for production, sales and inventory in Calgary. You will work with vendors to ensure on-time delivery, monitor KPIs, and implement cost-saving performance improvements.
Responsibilities include processing purchasing activities, adhering to policies, and communicating status updates. This role offers growth in a collaborative environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
Responsible for purchasing parts and materials for production, sales and inventory. Work with vendors monitor KPIs and build and execute performance improvement plans where needed. Provide input on opportunities to improve product flow, consolidate buying needs and reduce acquisition costs.
Education: High School; College or Trade or Certifications. Post-Secondary certification and/or SCMP designation is considered an asset.
Work Experience: 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain or Operations procurement environment required.
Knowledge: Excellent communication skills, MS Office, working knowledge of ERP systems and mathematical reasoning skills required. Continuous improvement experience is an asset. Experience with Materials Resource Planning considered an asset.
