Job summary

PCL Constructors Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst Student for an 8 or 12 month term starting January 2027.

You will build reporting and analytics for fleet and inventory, consolidate data sources, and help optimize processes using innovative AI-driven solutions. You will collaborate with business and technology teams, assist with documentation and training, and contribute to pilots, rollouts, and system testing.

Responsibilities

• Build reporting and analytics for fleet and inventory management.
• Consolidate and sanitize relevant data sources.
• Identify and streamline processes with innovative solutions.
• Respond to service requests, troubleshoot incidents, and investigate problems.
• Assist with creating or updating process, training and system documentation.
• Deliver web-based training to end users.
• Document requirements for new systems.
• Create or update use cases supporting requirements, designs, and UAT.
• Participate in pilots and rollouts.
• Assess, develop and implement AI agents and tools to target objectives.
• Develop a culture of innovation for AI in day-to-day work.
• Develop and deliver stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate subject matter experts for requirements refinement and UAT.

• Liaise with business, technology, and support teams to ensure systems meet requirements.

• Assists with, create or update use cases that support requirements analysis, functional designs, user acceptance testing, and training material.
• Participates in pilots and rollouts.
• Assess, development and implement AI agents and tools effectively that target department objectives.
• Help develop a culture of innovation by learning and guiding the department to more effective
  ways to use AI in their day to day work.
• Develops and deliver stakeholder communications.
