Job Description

1. Work with senior stakeholders to define high-level business requirements and prepare business cases.
2. Recommend technology directions.
3. Translate business requirements into comprehensive, complete, and accurate functional and technical specifications.
4. Define and recommend system solutions to meet business goals.
5. Develop and document business rules, interface specifications, and conceptual designs.
6. Act as a liaison between business users and software developers.
7. Lead design reviews and other meetings.
8. Facilitate tests such as user acceptance testing.
9. Write user manuals, functional specifications, and other project-related documentation.
10. Prepare training materials and deliver end-user training.
11. Mentor junior staff.

The Successful Applicant

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, information technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience as a technical business analyst, with experience in Treasury or Capital Markets.
3. Experience in delivering trade messaging components/solutions for trading workflows across various asset classes such as FX, Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, etc.
4. Proficiency in system analysis, design, and documentation.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and design effective solutions.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Experience in project management, including task prioritization, resource management, and ensuring timely project delivery.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with stakeholders.
