Business General Manager

LOUF, Toronto's landmark restaurant for modern Palestinian cuisine, is hiring!

Position Objective

The General Manager should possess excellent commercial awareness and strong people skills. Responsibilities include building relationships with guests, training and empowering staff, driving sales and profitability, and assisting in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring high customer experience and operational efficiency
• Hiring, training, and scheduling staff
• Monitoring sales performance and preparing forecasts
• Conducting team meetings and managing staff issues
• Overseeing procurement, accounts receivable, and payable
• Inspecting store operations, stock, and SOP implementation
• Maintaining cleanliness, ambiance, and hospitality standards
• Coordinating between departments for smooth operations
• Assessing customer satisfaction and managing service recovery
• Providing feedback and conducting marketing meetings
• Managing marketing strategies and promotions
• Performing managerial duties on duty as needed
• Other duties as assigned by owners

Human Resource Duties

• Ensuring SOP adherence and staff training
• Supporting staff development and motivation
• Monitoring sanitation and safety compliance

Administrative and Financial Duties

• Preparing budgets and forecasts with finance
• Managing costs and inventory
• Setting operational objectives

Marketing Duties

• Participating in marketing meetings and campaigns
