Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Business Development Specialist for our Calgary office, with the flexibility for some remote work. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for researching and identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position also involves managing client accounts, attending networking events, and requires occasional travel to attend tradeshows and conferences as needed.

Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical skills, including market research and data analysis
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in lead generation and customer service
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment
  • Experience in the exhibition, advertising or marketing industry is a plus
  • Strong Attention to detail, highly organized
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks within required timelines
  • Ability to work in a team oriented and collaborative environment
  • Prior experience in a large ERP environment, proficient in various computer programs, such as Basecamp, SAP B1, excel
