Right at Home Canada is seeking a Business Development Representative for the Fraser Valley region, based out of the Abbotsford office. We provide personalized, quality supportive care services to individuals in their homes and are looking to expand our referral network.

The role involves conducting face-to-face meetings weekly with potential referral sources, building relationships through calls, emails, and visits to generate sales opportunities and increase client inquiries. It is a part-time position (30 hours/week) with potential to become full-time, offering a competitive salary plus commissions based on revenue activities.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and visits to organizations like Assisted Living Facilities, LTC, Hospitals, and therapy providers to develop referral sources.
  • Respond to and document client and referral inquiries.
  • Meet with potential clients and their families to discuss services.
  • Identify and qualify leads from inquiries as sales opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed sales and market share targets.
  • Follow up effectively to grow referral relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Create marketing and outreach plans to meet KPIs.
  • Maintain detailed activity records in our CRM system.
  • Participate in community events and assist with marketing efforts like newsletters and social media.
  • Attend weekly meetings to review progress and strategies.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or related fields.
  • Valid vehicle and willingness to drive for work-related tasks.
  • Experience in sales (3-5 years preferred), with a successful track record.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills (MS Office, CRM systems).
  • Ability to work independently with good judgment.
