As a BDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for future clients, helping drive new business for our cutting-edge Managed Detection & Response (MDR) solution and building lasting relationships. What You’ll Do:

  • Identify, contact, and qualify decision makers from target accounts, including managed service providers (MSP), value-added-resellers (VAR), and small-to-mid sized businesses
  • Book prospect meetings for Account Executives with the ultimate goal of these meetings becoming a new pipeline opportunity for sales
  • Achieve your quota for generating new opportunities for sales
  • Call volumes of 70+ per day
  • In your sales calls, understand a prospects pain points and how we solve for them, plus always take a values-based approach in your sales conversations
  • Develop your sales skills through regular one on ones, simulated/role play sales calls, and practicing with our sales playbook
  • Maintain comprehensive information, including call records and account status, in our CRM
  • Reporting on weekly/monthly/quarterly results
  • Our tech stack for the BDR role includes: ZoomInfo Engage, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Microsoft Dynamics and more.
  • Please note that occasional travel may be required for this role
  • Work setting: This is a work from home position open to candidates residing in Canada. Hybrid/onsite option is available for candidates that reside in the Ottawa region. Remote workers are required have reliable internet connection.

  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools and Field Effect tech stack is a plus

  • Experience: Previous experience in sales or related fields is an asset
