ABOUT THE POSITION

The Business Development Manager, Security Services, is a master of new business acquisition. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering SSRG's proven security services value to industry leading organizations across Canada. This position works closely with the leadership team to develop and execute new business development for security services, to strengthen our market position.


WORKING CONDITIONS

The Business Development Manager, Security Services, works remotely and from SSRG offices in the Lower Mainland, BC, with travel across Canada as needed, and reports to the Chief Operating Officer. The position generally works traditional office hours and is required to be available outside of scheduled hours to respond to urgent matters.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilizing industry knowledge to identify new prospects
  • Building and maintaining meaningful, trust-based relationships with key clients across a variety of industries
  • Analyzing the unique needs of our clients and creating tailored solutions
  • Selling complete integrated sales solutions, highlighting all of SSRG's business verticals
  • Being the master of your sales cycle, from start to finish
  • Executing deals to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across all business lines
  • Other duties, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the security industry (10 years is preferred)
  • Integrity beyond reproach and an exceptional reputation in the security industry
  • Track record of success with a short or long sales cycle
  • Fluent in English
  • Superior customer service skills, professional attitude, and appearance
  • Excellent relationship management and credibility building skills
  • Strategic/creative thinker
  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills.
  • Technological proficiency in Microsoft Office and other popular software solutions
