Job summary

Securitas Canada is seeking a Business Development Manager, GTA, to drive growth by identifying on-site guarding opportunities and building strong client relationships across markets.

You will prospect, qualify organizations, design coverage with operations, prepare proposals and pricing, respond to RFPs, and maintain CRM data. Travel within the region is required. Strong communication and ability to lead complex sales cycles are essential.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Business Development Manager, GTA , you'll drive growth by identifying new on-site guarding opportunities and building strong client relationships across diverse markets. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused professional who thrives on prospecting and delivering tailored security solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Generate new business for protective services and integrated solutions.
  • Prospect and qualify organizations needing security programs.
  • Collaborate with operations to design coverage and procedures.
  • Prepare proposals, pricing, and respond to RFPs.
  • Maintain CRM data and market intelligence.
  • Ensure solutions meet client needs and company standards

Salary range:

$75,000 to $80,000

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
  • Must have the legal right to work in Canada.
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English and French in the province of Quebec.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including background investigation.

  • Skill in persuasive oral and written communications, including effective executive-level presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of sales and business development.
  • Demonstrated energy, drive, determination and persistence, even when confronted with rejection.
  • Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and prospects.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop recommendations and solutions.
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to be an effective team member and handle project assignments responsibly.

WORKING CONDITIONS (Physical/Mental Demands)
