Job summary

Securitas Canada Limited is seeking professional and reliable Security Guards to join our team across multiple client sites in the Greater Toronto area. Responsibilities include controlling access, performing wand searches, and maintaining detailed incident reports.

Strong communication, customer service, and a professional appearance are required. Candidates should have a valid Ontario Security Guard Licence, First Aid and CPR, and 3–4 years of security experience, preferably at high-security

• 3-4 years of security experience, preferably with high level security sites
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Strong observation and attention to detail
• Ability to complete written reports accurately
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• OPEN availability for days, afternoons, nights and weekend shifts; own vehicle with a G licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Control access to the site and verify visitors, employees, contractors.

What You Will Do:

• Control access to the site and verify visitors, employees, contractors.
• Wand search and metal detection
• Control access to restricted areas within the facility.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
• Enforce client and site‑specific security policies
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors.
• Maintain a visible security presence
• Perform other security‑related duties as assigned

What We Need from You:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• 3-4 years of security experience, preferably with high level security sites.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Strong observation and attention to detail

• Ability to sit and stand in a quiet enviornment.

• Previous security experience is an asset, but qualified candidates with a strong customer‑service background are encouraged to apply for more experienced roles.
• Priority will be given to candidates with OPEN availability for days, afternoons, nights and weekend shifts and their own vehicle with a G licence. Some sites are NOT accessible by transit.
