Job summary

Securitas Canada is hiring Security Guards across the Greater Toronto Area. Walk-ins welcome with multiple shifts and positions available. Location: North York, ON. Pay is CAD 18.50–22.00 per hour.

Guards will monitor and patrol properties, control access, monitor CCTV, complete daily reports, respond to emergencies, and provide professional customer service to employees and visitors. Prior security experience is helpful but strong customer service candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Strong observation and attention to detail.
• Ability to complete written reports accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Previous security experience is an asset, but qualified candidates with a strong customer-service background are encouraged to apply for more experienced roles.
• Priority will be given to candidates with OPEN availability for days, afternoons, nights and weekend shifts and their own vehicle with a G2 or G licence.

What You Will Do:

Pay rates range from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on the assignment, location, experience, licensing requirements, and site responsibilities.
