Description
The Business Development Manager will be primarily responsible for assisting the firm's leader of strategic real estate relationships in identifying, managing, and developing new business opportunities. You will report to the Executive Vice President.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the firm's business strategy to effectively develop opportunities for implementing the company’s technology ecosystem solution with smaller real estate owners.
- Source opportunities through relationships, research, and network.
- Manage the sales process from identification through closing, including preparing necessary documentation, client follow-up, and contract documentation.
- Manage and maintain multiple relationships with property owners, asset managers, property managers, and center managers.
- Own and control the sales process for Reimagined Parking’s solutions within a specific territory, engaging stakeholders and maintaining sales momentum.
- Maintain a detailed pipeline of activity for management, including client details, location, site size, revenue, EBITDA, and gross margin.
- Prepare summaries before client meetings, including background information and opportunities.
- Document and circulate notes on meetings with prospective sites and clients.
- Manage contract negotiations for new site acquisitions.
- Understand site-level performance for individual sites.
- Complete internal requests for information from other departments, including operations.
- Travel as required.
- Work on special projects as determined by the head of strategic real estate partnerships.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Minimum 3-5 years of consultative B2B sales experience, preferably in parking or related real estate services industries.
- Proven ability to follow a sales process to close deals.
- Experience in dynamic, fast-growing B2B environments with disruptive solutions.
- Expertise in managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Strategic and financial business acumen.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resilience, creativity, boldness, and tenacity in sales pursuits.
- Ability to articulate solutions and their value to diverse business buyers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and high organization with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; PowerPoint is a plus.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Initiative-taking and team-oriented attitude.
- Highest level of integrity, honesty, professionalism, and judgment.
