Job Title : Business Development Manager

Industry : Freight Brokerage / 3PL

Reports to- Sales Manager

Salary : Highly negotiable depending on what you bring to the table. Role Overview :

As a Business Development Manager, you control your destiny. Your primary tasks include identifying, prospecting, and securing new customers using various tools and methods, with support from the entire organization. Once onboarded, customers transition to our best-in-class Solutions Team, allowing you to continue finding new customers and earning permanent commissions on every customer you help us partner with.

Your initial goal will be prospecting and cold calling. As you build your business, you'll establish deep, meaningful, and rewarding relationships with customers based on trust and integrity. These relationships will be lifelong.

While industry experience is not a definitive must have for this position, we do look for demonstrated prior success in sales and cold calling experience.

Job Requirements :

  • 3+ years of experience in an outside sales role - Freight Brokerage / 3PL industry a great advantage
  • Experience in an outside sales role (Non-negotiable)
  • Ability to build lasting and meaningful client relationships (Non-negotiable)
  • Demonstrated success in sales and cold calling (Non-negotiable)
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or logistics (preferred)
  • Experience in phone, virtual, and face-to-face customer interactions
  • Availability to be “on-call” when your customer requires it
  • Energetic, self-starting, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the logistics or transportation industry (an asset)
