Position OverviewWe are seeking an energetic, results-driven Business Development Executive to help expand our client base and drive company growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and promoting our full range of security and technology services.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, research, and target new business opportunities across various industries (residential, commercial, construction, retail, events).
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and attending industry events.
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and service agreements to potential clients.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM or company systems.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.
- Work closely with operations to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Skills & Qualifications- Proven experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management (experience in the security industry is an asset).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (travel within Ottawa and nearby areas required).
