Effectively establish and coordinate technical business activities aligned with the goals of the Global Finance and Risk Technology (GFRT) organization within Scotiabank. Responsible for overseeing project completion and enhancements by business product owners within set time frames and budgets.
The main function of the Business Application Specialist, reporting to the Senior Manager, Procurement Technology, is to estimate, analyze, design, document, test, and support system solutions for Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) for Global Procurement Services (GPS). This role supports project execution and system enhancements, adhering to software development lifecycle standards, testing, change management, and best practices in business intelligence technology. The individual will collaborate closely with stakeholders and technical teams, managing relationships with internal GPS partners and third-party vendors.
This hands-on role requires a thorough understanding of detailed system design. Domain expertise should include procurement processes, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), TPRM, CLM, Category Sourcing, P2P, Incident Management, Audit compliance, Global Payments, IT enablers, digital transformation, SDLC frameworks, and integration methodologies.
