Job summary

COFOMO, a leading Canadian consulting firm in digital and AI, is seeking a Business Analyst in Montreal. The role focuses on analyzing business needs, documenting requirements and working across business, finance, compliance, and IT teams.

You will contribute to solution design, pricing and risk management processes, and participate in agile delivery to drive transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience in capital markets projects.
• Experience with interest, credit, equity and fixed income derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and operational processes to align initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with business sectors, finance, compliance and information technology teams.
• Write and present analysis deliverables including business requirements, use cases, target operating models, impacted processes, implementation strategies and traceability matrices.
• Document the full lifecycle of financial products including pricing, trading, valuation, position management, risk management and compliance requirements.
• Participate in analysis, feasibility, design and implementation of initiatives.
• Contribute to evaluation and selection of technological solutions.
• Ensure integration of solutions into the application and technology ecosystem.
• Define validation strategies and support testing activities.
