Intelcom is seeking an Operations Business Analyst to support the Operations team with new and ongoing projects and system improvements. This role reports to the Director of Operational & Technology Platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis skills, excellent communication, and robust project and time management abilities. A solid background in supply chain and logistics, including knowledge of TMS, WMS, last mile and middle mile logistics, sorting, automation, and mobile and web applications, is essential. Additionally, a deep understanding of hubs and distribution centres is required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating systems and processes supporting Intelcom’s first mile, middle mile, sorting, automation, and BI reporting.
- Leading the selection and design of products to enhance logistics processes and identify technological solutions for problems.
- Documenting and understanding existing systems and processes to maintain strong solution knowledge.
- Identifying opportunities, gaps, and improvements based on industry standards.
- Communicating requirements effectively to Product Owners and documenting business requirements.
- Creating BRDs or business cases for operations projects.
- Developing project RACI matrices and participating in project charters and stakeholder validation.
- Ensuring stakeholder requirements are defined, modeled, and validated.
- Participating in scrum ceremonies as a business owner and validating solution designs with SMEs.
- Sign-off on solution designs as the main OPS business owner.
- Identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating project risks.
- Defining project tasks, creating project plans, and participating in UAT sessions.
- Validating new processes, supporting change management, and training teams.
- Creating SOPs, training content, and participating in initial training sessions.
- Planning and executing the rollout of operations projects, including communication and troubleshooting.
- Providing first-line support during project rollout to gather feedback and plan next steps.
Qualifications include:
- Certification in Business Analysis, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, Business Technology Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership, influencing, negotiation skills, and decision-making abilities.
- Motivated learner with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of setting priorities.
- Analytical mindset and system thinking skills.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and French, with workshop facilitation experience.
