Job summary

Qualifications

• 2-4 ans d'expérience en tant qu'analyste d'affaires hybride technique/fonctionnel.

Business Analyst (BI & Analytics)

Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Business Analyst a specialty in BI & Analytics tooling to place at our client, a Big Five Bank.

• Client: Big Five Bank
• Terms: 12 month contract
• Location: Hybrid, downtown Toronto, 1-2 days a week in the office
• Openings: 2
• Projects: Exfiltration, Data Migration

In this role, you will:

• Leverage your expertise in BI and Analytics tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, Data Modeling) to support the bank's data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across various business functions to ensure technology solutions align with strategic goals.
• Gather and translate business requirements into actionable plans for programmers and developers.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
• Serve as a liaison between the business and IT teams to bridge the gap and ensure user needs are met.
• Manage multiple projects as a contributing member of a collaborative team.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience as a Technical/Functional Hybrid Business Analyst.
• Proficiency in SAS, Tableau, and Power BI (with some SQL experience).
• Experience automating JIRA boards
• Proven experience with data analysis, metrics, and reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Enterprise experience.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh.
• Proficiency in Alteryx, Databricks, and ETL tools.
• Banking industry experience.
• Understanding of change management and its impacts.
