Description :
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives related to the customized Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and review existing documentation to comprehensively capture and analyze business requirements, aligning with OPS Unified Project Management Methodology, Enterprise Architecture and Gating Process, and OPS Standard Systems Development Methodologies.
- Work closely with the COTS product vendor to understand the product's capabilities, limitations, and customization options.
- Establish a strong working relationship with the vendor's technical and support teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop a detailed plan for documenting requirements, outlining the scope, schedule, and resources required for the documentation process.
- Define methodologies and tools to be used for requirements documentation, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Create clear and concise documentation for business requirements, functional specifications, and system integration points.
- Ensure that all documented requirements are traceable, verifiable, and aligned with business objectives and strategies.
- Implement a comprehensive review process to ensure the completeness and accuracy of requirements documentation.
- Conduct regular validation sessions with stakeholders to confirm that all business needs are accurately represented in the documentation.
- Facilitate discussions around any changes or updates to the requirements, ensuring proper documentation and communication of changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in requirements documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Analytical Skills and Experience (60%) :
- Experience conducting requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations and briefing notes, and conducting stakeholder engagement.
- Successful completion of projects showcasing the ability to deliver tangible business outcomes.
- Experience with developing processes for requirements gathering including but not limited to JAD sessions, interviews, mock-ups, etc.
- Ability to develop and prepare technical specifications and documentation for implementation, testing, and performance.
- Ability to research, assess, and evaluate client needs and identify possible methodologies and technologies for user applications.
- Ability to make recommendations regarding the potential application of new technologies, trends, methodologies, and concepts to satisfy short and long-term technology requirements of the Cluster and customers.
- Strong skills in analyzing data to derive meaningful insights and support decision-making.
Project Coordination Knowledge (25%) :
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure project activities align with business goals.
- Experience in defining and controlling project scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Experience with developing processes for requirements gathering including but not limited to JAD sessions, interviews, mock-ups, etc.
Previous Public Sector experience is an asset.
