Job summary

Pacer Group in Canada seeks a senior Business Analyst for a 6-12 month contract in BFSI, hybrid work four days a week. You will lead requirements, map data flows, and support risk reporting initiatives.

The role requires 7+ years BA experience in banking, expertise with SQL/Hive/SSMS/Teradata, data visualization with Tableau, and familiarity with LEF risk concepts.

This contract offers competitive CAD hourly pay of CAD 50-54 with equal opportunity policy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in BA, systems implementation, process improvement, or systems re-engineering within banking or financial services.
• Understanding of Credit Risk reporting.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis using Hive, MS SQL Server, Teradata, HUE, or Dremio.
• Strong experience in data sourcing, analysis, and data mapping.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and UAT coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Access.
• Experience with LEF risk shifting concepts involving CDS, SFTs, derivatives, guarantees, and LC fronting.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets and Retail financial instruments
• Experience with Tableau and reporting/visualization tools
• Experience working with regulatory reporting and financial risk data.
