Job summary

Robertson & Company Ltd. in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner with stakeholders across Capital Markets and enterprise initiatives.

Hybrid role (4x/week) in Toronto with focus on requirements, process improvements, and testing support. You will create BRDs, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and collaborate with technology, operations, and project teams in an Agile environment to deliver transformation programs and regulatory initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise technology, business transformation, or operational initiatives.
• Strong experience with requirements gathering, business process analysis, current/future state assessments, and stakeholder management.
• Proven experience supporting testing activities including UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Experience creating business documentation including BRDs, process flows, user stories, functional specifications, and workflow diagrams.
• Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments utilizing Jira and Confluence.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong documentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Work within Agile environments and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure project deliverables, documentation, and business processes align with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.

Position Overview

MUST HAVE

Nice to Have

• Financial services, banking, wealth management, or capital markets industry experience.
• ETF product knowledge and exposure to fund management or investment operations.
• Familiarity with Appian, IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), or workflow/process automation platforms.
• Experience supporting regulatory, taxation, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• CBAP, CCBA, Agile, Scrum, or related certifications.

PAY DETAILS

Between $50 - $70 an hour
