Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a Senior Business Analyst - IT - Advanced in Toronto, ON to lead requirements gathering for large IT initiatives. The role requires 8+ years as a BA/BSA and 2+ years on Agile projects, with strong skills in elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.

The incumbent will work on online and mobile banking projects, craft user stories, and ensure accurate business and system specifications while coordinating with BU and IT stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a BA/BSA.
• 2+ years of experience on an Agile project.
• Independent gathering of business and systems requirements.
• Experience in online/mobile banking domains.
• Strong knowledge of requirements methodology in Agile and Waterfall.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and gap analysis.
• Experience with user stories, business and system specs, diagrams and maps.
• Experience on large projects (> $2M).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and system requirements.
• Collaborate with BU and IT stakeholders to validate solutions.
• Facilitate workshops with 15–20+ participants.
• Ensure clear user stories and specifications are produced.
• Support large, multi-year IT initiatives with strong governance.

Job Title : Business Analyst - IT - Advanced

Duration : 12 Months (Highly chance to extends)

Location : Toronto, ON (Need to go 4 days in week onsite)

Daily Responsibilities:

• 8+ years of experience as a BA/BSA
• 2 years + experience on an Agile project
• Proven ability to gather Business requirements and Systems requirements independently.
• Experience in Online banking / Mobile banking.
• Strong knowledge of Requirements methodology (planning, elicitation, documentation) - both within Agile and Waterfall project frameworks
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and gap analysis
• Demonstrated experience with user stories, business and system specifications, business context diagrams and business process maps.
• Experience working on large projects over $2 million.
• Excellent communication skills required; will be working with BU stakeholders and IT stakeholders; Experience facilitating a large roomful of stakeholders (15–20 or more).
• Excellent collaboration skills, and highly adaptable
• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
