Job summary

Affinity Credit Union is seeking a Business Advisor to serve SME and agriculture members at a Rural Saskatoon Advice Centre.

You will provide customized financial guidance, develop business cases, and educate members using technology to improve experiences and drive sales.

The role emphasizes relationship building, strong financial analysis, and policy support for sales, service, and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field plus 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Proven sales ability to grow a book and meet targets using a member-centric approach.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and operating models.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for small and medium enterprises, advising on operations, corporate structure and financing.
• Provide resources to develop business cases and set up financials and operating models.

We’re looking for a go-getter to serve as a Business Advisor at one of our Rural Saskatoon Advice Centres. As a Business Advisor, you’ll focus on providing customized financial advice and expertise to our small and medium-sized business and agriculture members.

What you’ll do:

• Act as subject matter expert for small and medium enterprises, providing expertise related to their operational, corporate structure and financing needs
• Provide advice and resources to develop business cases, set up business financials, operating models, business registration, etc. for Business Advisors
• Focus on member education using technology to deliver a memorable member experience, drive sales and retain business
• Provide policy and program advice for sales, service and marketing initiatives targeting the Business Advisor segment
