Sun West School Division is seeking a reliable School Bus Driver for Beechy Route 01. This permanent position starts as soon as possible and involves operating a school bus on designated routes, picking up students, and ensuring a safe environment.

The ideal candidate will have a valid S endorsement, a clean driving abstract, First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain), and strong communication skills. Split shifts and interaction with children are part of the role; compensation follows the CUPE

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with S endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus along designated routes and schedules.

Sun West School Division is seeking reliable, safety-oriented applicants for a School Bus Driverposition for Beechy Route 01 (East of Beechy to Beechy School).

This is a permanent position, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus along designated routes and schedules
• Pick up and drop off students at assigned stops
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and school transportation regulations
• Maintain order and discipline on the bus
• Assist students with boarding and exiting when required
• Report any delays, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly
• Keep accurate records of routes, incidents, and inspections
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, and school staff

Compensation & Benefits

Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the collective agreement of CUPE Local 4802.

• Base Rate: $61.71
