South East Cornerstone Public School Division is seeking an energetic and reliable School Bus Driver to transport students safely to and from school on Route Manor Area #84-437. This is a temporary role with start date as soon as possible and end date 2027-03-31.

The position offers a daily wage of $79.53 plus $0.17 per kilometer, along with a full benefits package and a defined pension plan through CUPE 4869 collective agreement.

Job description

South East Cornerstone Public School Division is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and fun person to fill the role of School Bus Driver. If you are a parent or grandparent who currently drives students to and from school, you are an ideal individual to fill this role. For parents with non-school age children we can provide certain safety seating so they can accompany you and their older sibling(s).

Start Date: As soon as possible/As mutually agreed upon
End Date: March 31, 2027

Tenure:

Temporary

Hours of Work:

Approximately 5 hours per day, split shift

Duties:

In addition to those duties outlined in the job description, duties include transporting students to and from school.

Qualifications:

• Class 5 Driver's License with "S" Endorsement
• First Aid & CPR
• Clear Driver's Abstract
• Commitment to the ideals of public education as well as the mission, vision and guiding principles of the South East Cornerstone Public School Division

Salary & Benefits:

Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated CUPE 4869 Collective Agreement as listed on our website www.secpsd.ca. The starting wage for this position is currentlya daily rate of $79.53plus $0.17per kilometeralong with a full benefit package and an employer defined pension plan.
